How peer mock interviews work

• Pick a seat. Choose DSA or system design, then a slot on Tuesday or Sunday evening. You start with a credit, so you can be interviewed straight away, or take the interviewer seat, which is in shorter supply and usually matches instantly.
• Get matched. The scheduler pairs you with a peer automatically and sends the interview room link, an interview question, and reminders.
• Build a reputation. Every interview you run earns a credit back plus karma rated by the candidate, which adds up to a public interviewer profile worth linking to.

Why a real person, not an AI

A real technical interview is a conversation: follow-up questions, hints, pushback, and the pressure of being watched while you think. An AI mock interview cannot reproduce that. Practicing with a stranger can, and it also means the feedback is honest, because neither of you has a relationship to protect.
