Free mock interviews

Free mock interview practice, with real people

Practick is free because the people practising are also the interviewers. Interview someone for an hour and you have earned an hour of being interviewed. There is no trial that runs out and no card to enter.

How it stays free: the credit system

Being interviewed costs one credit. Conducting an interview earns one. New accounts start with one free credit, so your first interview can be as the candidate. It expires after 15 days, which keeps credits moving instead of sitting in accounts.

Credits are conserved one for one. The platform never promises more interview time than members give each other, which is why there is an interviewer for every candidate.

What you get, without paying

Free ways to practise, compared

Friends are free, but rarely ask hard follow-ups, and it is awkward to be honest with each other. AI interviewers are always available, but cannot push back the way a person does. Paid services pair you with experienced interviewers, but charge for every session.

Practick sits in between: a real engineer, a prepared question, honest feedback from a stranger with no relationship to protect, and nothing to pay.

Show up, or lose the seat

Free only works if people turn up. Practick has a three strike policy for no-shows, and a missed session refunds the credit of the person left waiting.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a catch?

You give an hour to get an hour. That is the whole model, and peer interviews do not cost money.

Do I need a credit card?

No. Sign up, pick a slot and book. Nothing asks for payment details.

How soon can I get my first interview?

Interviews run on Tuesday and Sunday evenings, with slots at 9 PM and 10 PM IST. Book any open slot, and your first interview is usually within a few days.

What can I practise?

Data structures, algorithms and system design (HLD). The bank has 600+ DSA and system design questions, each with an interviewer guide and a model solution.
